Four Months

Yesterday Liam turned four months old. So many changes have taken place in the last four weeks. His four month appointment is not until Tuesday, so I do not know his weight or height as of yet, however here are some things I do not want to forget.
  • Liam jabbers all the time. He has been making noises, laughing and getting so excited that he flaps his arms like a bird. He tries really hard to tell me lots of things.
  • He has outgrown may of his 6 month onesies. He can still wear his 3 month shorts and shirts though. Weird.
  • He is starting to participate in the cereal feeding now. He used to make horrible faces, start crying and would just want a bottle, but today he actually noticed the spoon and started swallowing the cereal that was in his mouth.
  • Although he has been sleeping through the night for a while now, he started waking around 3:00/4:00 and after being fed and changed, he thinks it's time to play and talk. Last night took two hours to get back to bed. Not fun.
  • He can entertain himself in his exersaucer for a longer span of time. I am able to fold a load of laundry/eat lunch/have a phone conversation (or all three at the same time if I am feeling super talented). This is a huge step since Liam was perma-attached to me at all times not so long ago.
  • Still not napping anywhere else but on mom. Hey, I can't have it all, right? We are working on this one though.
  • Love to smile and laugh at me and daddy. Makes our day to see that gummy grin.
  • Still love bath time...can't wait for him to start sitting up so we can get out of this little tub. I am not sure who ends up with more water on them by the end, me or Liam.

I'll update again after his appointment. Here are some pictures of Liam and Grandpa and his four month photo shoot (epic fail).

"These pumpkin booties are ridiculous Grandpa. Why are you all laughing at me?"

"My funny smile. I do not like to sit still now, so this is as good as it gets. Sorry folks!"
