June 14th

June 14th will always be a special day to us.  It was the day I became a mother (and Les became a father) for the first time.  I could have never imagined all of the ways our lives would change from that day on.  But they have.  And in a great way.  Liam's second birthday was filled with lots of balloons, some cake and a whole lot of fun!

Les and I blew up some balloons in the morning so Liam would wake up to them.

And then I made him waffles, complete with strawberries and whipped cream.

He was really excited.

We visited C'MON (the Children's Museum of Naples) and Liam found the Choo-Choo's almost immediately.

They hung out in an igloo...

And roasted marshmallows over a fire.

Liam built a snowman...

And raked up some leaves.

He also gave us the weather report on ABC-7...

And told us what it was like to be in a hurricane!

He caught a few fish...

And Kenley enjoyed splashing in the water.

Liam rode this giant lizard like it was a bronco.

He even got lost deep in thought.

Kenny showed us her tongue.
And that evening we celebrated with a cake topped with two candles.  And a cherry on top.

And even though it was a hot day, we went for an evening walk, because that is what Liam likes to do.

And he had a blast.

We hope you had a great day, Liam! We love you!
