Your baby is growing like mad, putting on about a millimeter every day and continuing to straighten out in the trunk. Though you can't feel it yet, baby is moving those little arms, legs and (now only slightly) webbed fingers and toes like crazy.
So it bothers me just a little to know that the baby is the size of a large raspberry. Only because I have been eating tons of raspberries lately and everytime I look at one I think how the baby is the same size...and then I eat it. It seems a little odd that one of the foods I am really enjoying right now also happens to be the same food my baby is being compared to.
Next week I move on to a green olive. I like them, but not as much as I like raspberries, so I think I will feel better in week 9.
Here's a little survey that I will try to continue to do throughout the pregnancy.
* How far along?: 8w3d
* How big is baby?: A raspberry ::sigh::
* Maternity clothes?: No
* Stretch marks?: None yet, thank goodness.
* Sleep?: More please! I am exhausted and feel like I could fall asleep at any moment throughout the day.
* Best moment this week?: Telling his parents last Friday night. Mine knew for a few days before that.
* Food cravings?: Root Beer Floats, Raspberries, Cookies, Salad (finally!!).
* Labor signs?: No!
* Belly button in or out?: Way in. I don't think mine will ever poke out ::prays::
* What I miss: Not being so tired. Subs from Publix with cold Deli Meat.
* What I'm looking forward to: Next Ultrasound at 10w2d. Last Monday at 7w2d we had our first.
* Milestone: Every week is a milestone. 8 weeks and approaching 9! Woot woot!!
