Final Stretch

Today I am 37w3d. I have weekly appointments now and they consist of the dreaded internals. Last week I had made no progress, meaning I was not dialated at all. Doc told me to walk an hour a day and prescribed me the one thing that got me here in the first place ;)
My parents came down last Saturday and we went to Babies R Us to finish buying the last few things we needed before the baby comes. It was a successful trip and I think I am going back this weekend for a few decorative items for his nursery. Everything has been put together, washed and put away..we are just waiting now. I am anxious but I am not at all ready for him to be here. I have loved every minute of being pregnant. Sure, there are a few things that get annoying like not being able to wear cute summer clothes and bathing suits, my ankles swelling at the end of the day and not being able to sleep on my stomach, but I honestly love being pregnant. The girls at the doctor's office say I am the happiest pregnant woman they have ever seen. I guess by this time most people are ready to throw in the towel.
The doctor is planning on doing another ultrasound in the next few weeks to determine his weight and make a plan for delivery. I don't think he will be as big as everyone is saying (which is SO annoying). It would be nice to prove them all wrong and say "I told you so". :)
Oh, by the way...I read that he is now the size of a watermelon....eep!
