Too long and almost there!!!

So it has been wayyyy too long since I last posted on here and I am sort of sad about it. I wanted this to be a way to remember the pregnancy but it goes by SOOO fast! It will soon be a place for out friends and family to see pictures of our little man. :)

It seems like we just found out that our little peanut is a boy and now we are only 5 weeks away from meeting him...5 weeks! I have been learning though that it could be sooner than 5 weeks and may also be a little later which I was expecting, but the thought of him coming in the next 3 or 4 weeks is terrifying. I think both of us are starting to get nervous but are also looking forward to meeting him. I think I am the only pregnant woman I have known to be sad that this pregnancy is almost over. I really need to get moving on the last few things we actually need, like say, a CAR SEAT! We can't take a baby home from the hospital without one so why are we slacking on this important item that we have had picked out and are ready to order at any time? I honestly think it will make all of this real...a real live baby will be sitting in it very, very soon and no matter how you slice it, it's scary.

So should we survey since this very well could be the last? Let's.

How far along?: 34w5d...only 37 days left! For real?

* How big is baby?: About the size of a honeydew melon. Between 4.2 - 5.8 pounds.....wowza.

* Maternity clothes?: Not really..just stretchy shirts and lots of dresses..summer is HOT in Florida!

* Stretch marks?: Nope...it's in the genes.

* Sleep?: Hardly. Between going to the bathroom every other hour and waking up to turn over, I am not getting much. I guess I am preparing for what the next several months will be like.

* Best moment this week?: My mom's shower last Saturday. It was so great to see everyone and we got some much needed baby essentials.

* Food cravings?: Pineapple, Iced Tea, Margaritas with extra salt

* Labor signs?: Not yet. He is high and breech..and apparently oh so stubborn...like momma? No signs of turning but plenty of moving about.

* Belly button in or out?: It finally happened. It popped. ::weeps:: It's not disgustingly hanging out there like an extra limb but it passed the "flat" stage. Les actually told me that he thought it would never happen since I had such a deep button.

* What I miss: Sleeping on my stomach. Having a drink or two. My small clothes.

* What I'm looking forward to: Dare I say... weekly appointments! Getting the nursery finished and things washed and ready. My mother-in-law's shower this Saturday!
