Sunday was equally as nice of a day as Saturday, so we took advantage of the warm sun and cool breeze and went to the Naples Zoo with the Jones family. There were so many animals to show Liam. I am sure he won't remember his first trip to the zoo, but I took enough pictures to show him how much fun he had. I was so excited about the animals, I think I took more pictures of them then I did my own child. The pictures you do see of Liam are how he looked the entire day...happy, curious and unusually calm. We were surprised at how easy it was to take him out for this long of an adventure.
Our first stop, was a lake filled with lots of HUGE alligators...
I was amazed to say the least and Tiffany teased me all day at how much I enjoyed these creatures
Les was showing Liam how to feed the fish. He will be teaching him how to get them out of the water with a fishing pole before we know it.
We saw zebras...
and leopards...
and tigers!
Liam preferred riding on his dad's shoulders most of the day.
And monkeys. Oh, the monkeys. I won't bore you with the hundreds of pictures I snapped of every.single.monkey there was. This was by far the best part of the day for me. I loved them!
We took this boat around several little islands which housed different types of monkeys.

This funny guy walked across the bridge just like a little person...he cracked me up!
We were lucky enough to watch some of the monkeys being fed. He would offer a piece of fruit and they would take it right out of his hand. I like how the one monkey is leaning on the post with one hand and getting some fruit with the other.
The monkeys would hold lettuce with their tails while walking around munching on other treats in their hands. So smart.
That is defintely a yawn you see in this picture. He didn't cry until we were pulling back into the boat dock. The kid has good timing.
We had such a great day and are looking forward to our next adventure! Hope everyone had a great weekend too!
