Liam's first birthday party was a hit! We went with a baseball theme and served ball park style food, which everyone seemed to enjoy. I had shirts made for Les, Liam and myself, however I do not have a picture with all of us together and wearing them. There were lots of friends and good food to make the day special for Liam. He had so much fun playing with all of his little friends and it was nice to have everyone together. I can't believe my tiny baby is a year old and growing more everyday. He is walking everywhere, talking about everything and is a true blessing that I am thankful for everyday of my life. He has made both Les and I learn what patience really means, how to love unconditionally and appreciate every second we have with him. His 16th birthday will be here before we know it and we will ask ourselves where the time has gone, but for now we are enjoying this little boy and all the joy he brings to our lives.
Les's shirt said "Big Slugger" on the front and "DAD" with the number 1 on the back. Liam's read "Lil' Slugger" on the front. Mine said "Rookie of the Year" with an arrow pointing to my belly.
His Mickey Mouse chair (and Radio Flyer wagon) were some of his favorite gifts. Thank you Grandma and Grandpa Glover!
His truck was a hit with all the kids. Thanks Grandma and Grandpa Hassen!!
Liam wasn't sure what to think about everyone singing to him.
Having so much fun with Miss Madison!
Thank you everyone for celebrating Liam's first birthday with us!
