This post is almost two months overdue, however I could not skip it all together. For Liam's actual birthday, we took him to Mote Marine Laboratory & Aquarium in Sarasota. It had to be the hottest day on record, or at least it felt that way to an almost nine month pregnant lady. We had such a good time showing Liam all kinds of sea creatures and I was happy that we were able to do something fun for his actual birthday since Les was home with us. It was one of his last big outings with just mom and dad so we wanted to make it a special day from start to finish. I think we made good on our promise to him.

We had spaghetti for dinner, one of Buddy's favorite meals. I'm not sure how much he actually eats, but he loves to make a mess and play with the noodles. Even though dad is the one who has to clean his highchair, we loved watching him stuff noodles in the seat and smear sauce all over his head.
