My favorite Christmas movie - A Christmas Story
A few weekends ago, we took a family trip to the grocery store (this story starts off sounding like a a trainwreck, huh?). As Liam began to get a little grumpy, Les picked up a little plastic snow globe to distract him while I grabbed a few more things. When I saw how infatuated Liam was with his new toy, I asked Les how much it was. "We aren't buying it. I just gave it to him to play with." Ummm, have you ever given a toddler something you intended to take back minutes later...in a grocery store....in front of people. Not happening. We purchased the $6.99 snow globe and smiled all night at how happy it made our son. I would have paid $20 to see this.
He clutched that thing all night, pushing the button that played Christmas music and blew "snow" around. He even fell asleep sitting on dad's lap in the midst of a Christmas classic.
And how could I not post the next two pictures of our little Christmas angel? She looks so cute!!
And for a good laugh... Here was one of the 1,274 pictures we took attempting to get a good family photo for our Christmas card.
We are laughing, Kenley is screaming and where the heck is Liam???
